Doing Our Bit for the Planet & wildlife

We run a community group, Plastic Free Broughty Ferry.

It primarily centres on the reduction of single-use plastics and how can use alternative methods or erradicate altogether.

We have also been holding commnuity cleans including a regular monthly beach clean which brings the community together to help the environment and the wildlife .

Plastic Free Town Award

We work with local businesses to see how they can help by eliminating 3 single use plastic items, whether it’s packaging or takeaway cutlery. This goes towards our National Town Award to get Broughty Ferry a ‘ Plastis Free ‘ status.
