Someone planted a seed pt5…
Waffle.
Not the sort with delicious cream and all those wonderful sweet accompaniments but the verbal type.
I waffle a lot.
So much so that in our circle we now have ‘wisdom waffle‘ (zero calories and guilt free ) and I think I may have started this because I find it hard to stay on topic and easy to drift and go into ‘butterfly conversation mode’ Which is to say i know where I want to get to with what I’m trying to say but go off on so many tangents I often have to find my way back to the original point and it’s during this waffle that all the beautiful wisdom comes out.
We all have the capacity to do a bit of wisdom waffle and it presents itself when we aren’t even trying. In our circle you’ll often hear someone saying ‘and that was my wisdom waffle!’ but you know what? Everyone gets it! When you’re wisdom waffling you often feel (speaking for myself) that I have just made no sense whatsoever, I think I am the worlds worst at trying to put across what I mean, I never feel that I am particularly articulate but when I waffle it’s all in there, feelings, emotions etc but more importantly I can express myself by being myself and am accepted for who I am and this is how I roll. I simply struggle to say what I mean. I don’t think I’ve ever been any different!
(Give me 2 tics Peanut needs his breakfast)
Where was I… oh yes… I’ve listened so carefully on others talking and am always in awe of that ability to be clear and ‘make sense’ but that’s just not how I am. My notebooks for my work tell me everything I need to know. It doesn’t matter how many new notebooks I have. I have tried. Trust me. I start off one page one looking all tidy and neat and by page 2 I’ve descended into organised chaos.
I’m waffling aren’t I?! I will leave this wisdom waffle of mine with you and see you soon. Keep waffling because that’s when the magic happens.
